BIOGRAPHY:

Mr. Rodriguez is a proud native of Oak Cliff, where he was raised in a family of seven. A graduate of W. H. Adamson High School and a product of Dallas ISD, Mr. Rodriguez became the first in his family to attend college. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Texas A&M University in College Station.

For the past nine years, Mr. Rodriguez has dedicated himself to serving the Oak Cliff community. He began his educational career at Texans Can Academies, where he held multiple roles including teacher, program coordinator, and instructional coach. His commitment to education eventually brought him back to his alma mater, Adamson High School, where he served as a biology teacher.

Mr. Rodriguez later joined Dallas ISD’s LEAD program, through which he earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University–Commerce. He subsequently assumed the role of Assistant Principal at Adamson High School.

Since returning to Adamson, Mr. Rodriguez has played an instrumental role in the school's continued growth and success. Under his leadership, Adamson has become an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, ranked as Dallas ISD’s top comprehensive high school in Domain 1 STAAR performance. The campus holds its highest approval ratings among teachers, students, and parents. Additionally, Adamson has seen significant increases in CTE certifications, the number of P-TECH graduates earning associate degrees, and total scholarship awards for graduating seniors.

Mr. Rodriguez firmly believes that education is the key to breaking generational cycles and unlocking students’ full potential. He remains deeply committed to empowering his campus and community through education, service, and unwavering support.
